The Problem Dan Faced
Business was booming… or was it? Sure they had some big clients, and were proud of the high quality, custom design work they were doing. But they were working long hours to keep up with the demands of their business.
It seemed like every day they were running around like crazy, running so fast but not really getting anywhere. They designed solutions to match each clients needs, so every job was customised to match perfectly. Even just quoting work took hours, and each job involved re-inventing the wheel every single time. It was just so much work.
Sales were OK, and their growing client roster was impressive. But when Dan and Jacqui actually took into account how many hours they put into their business and divided that by their profits, their hourly rate was pretty poor… far less than what they were making back when they had a JOB!
So Dan did what many business owners do when they have a money problem (or think they do) - threw himself into DIY marketing. He tried his hand at lead magnets, Facebook ads… but nothing he did gained any traction.
What gives? Why is this not working?? What am I doing wrong??
Even though he knew he was a smart guy, and was determined to figure out the solution on his own, Dan was getting tired, frustrated… and kinda over it.
How Dan Found A Solution Through A Small Business Coach
Eventually Dan reached out to The Game Changers. At first he didn’t have any intention of signing up with us. He just wanted some quick marketing strategies to help him plug the cash hole in his business.

You’re just going to amplify the problems that are already there… perhaps to breaking point.
What changed in Dan’s business
When Dan signed up with us, and gave himself 6 months to turn things around… or he was shutting up shop.
After less than a year, Dan and Jacqui had stopped doing everything for everyone, defined his avatar, created new design packages, and was producing and delivering work with far better profit margins, and far less unnecessary work.
